Haşim Manav began his work in the footwear industry in 1952. In 1960 the first trade of the wholesale shoe business started in Manav commercial building which is in Anafartalar Street. He successfully carried on with the dealerships of largest brands in Aegean region for many years.

He set up his first factory in 1970 in Narlidere with the injection shoe production of Kulaspor brand. In 1980 in Çınarlı he established Izmir Artificial Leather and Neolith factory and played important role in footwear market for years to while delivering quality and reasonable price at the same time. In 1994 in Yazıbaşı 'Gomma A.Ş. was founded and it reached high capacity production of EVA sole injection by popular demand.

With so much work done and 60 years of experience gained in the sector, he continues to work with great enthusiasm with his sons, Süleyman and Malik Manav under their new company called HSM Ayakkabı Makine San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti.

After a detailed research in Far East and Italy HSM began to produce almost 150 models in beach slippers with airblow pvc, EVA rubber and Thermo-rubber-based raw materials, under the NOVELİDO and HYNE brands. Thanks to our valued customers and dealers, these brands have become very popular in all regions.

In Turkey, HSM has been successful in producing the light rubber beach slippers, sandals, and scented pvc surf shoes in the sector. Future generations will continue to pioneer in the industry.
